A cheerful heart is good medicine but a broken spirit saps a person's strength. -Proverbs 17:22 (NLT)
Update for 2021
Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
After considering several alternatives, the board of directors at FIAGW have decided not to proceed with a unity event during the week of prayer for Christian Unity for 2021. This would have been the 4th year for our event that is traditionally held in January.
As we move through 2021, we will continue to look for opportunities to have folks come together to celebrate the "Joy of the Lord" and seek to help out organizations that can benefit from our assistance.
Please note that it was the intention that our event in January 2021 was going to support the work of THE GRIND-PEMBROKE. We would ask that you consider supporting this ministry as it seeks to aid the community in so many ways.

The 2021 theme – "Abide in my love and you shall bear much fruit " (John 15:5-9) - calls us to pray and to work for reconciliation and unity in the church, with our human family, and with all of creation.
A big thank you to all who helped make the 2020 opening event for the week of Prayer for Christian Unity a success.
Most of all we thank God for
all he has done for us and has yet to do.
"Joy of the Lord"
